You read the title correctly. Bites! LOL!
On Saturday and Sunday mornings in Grand Isle, I baked half (12 bites) of the Carrie’s Biscuits that I shared with you last week.
We all had a good laugh when I opened the package. The biscuits were so small, but I was certain that they’d expand when each was finished baking.
Nope. They stay the same size, so you will need to eat 4-6 of them to feel satisfied. The black pepper bacon flavor was delicious. The photo below shows all 12 biscuits. Yes, that’s 12 (not 4).
I would definitely serve these biscuits with staples like shrimp & grits or gumbo. They’d make the perfect dinner roll.
For $30.00, I’ll let you make the call. They were scrumptious but not something we’d eat on a weekly basis.

Biscuits, y’all!
I think I'll pass on these at that price! At $1.25 a bite, they had better be scrumptious! Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteRon, Call me a miser...there's no way I'd ever pay that..You need to make your own recipe:):) I bet you could come up with something similar and absolutely cheaper. Blessings. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteYour little mini biscuits do look so delicious...and cute! LOL

Wow, I think 5.50 for a loaf of bread is a lot. You'll have many more warm days before you have to call it quits, right? Here on Lake Erie you're hot one minute then within a couple of hours nature flicks the switch and you're freezing! The first time my now SIL visited he couldn't get over the extreme change in temps. He said he experience all four season on one day! Don't give up your beach, pool time yet. I live through your lovely weekends photos :)
ReplyDeleteLOL- Let's see- How much bisquick can I buy for $30? lol I can't believe how LITTLE those suckers are!!! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteExpensive little things! I think I'd just make Bisquick biscuits and use a mini cutter. '-)
