Tortoise shells have been and continue to be a mainstay in home decor and accessories. The timeless, classic nature of each shell mixes easily with traditional and modern decor.
You’ve seen them. Tortoise shells and tortoise shell patterns are used for:
sunglasses
watches
drinking glasses
wall decor
mirrors
vases
flatware
I love to use tortoise shells in my home by placing them atop books.
I also like to use them in bowls and as wall art.
They are natural and each is unique. The colors lend to decor of many styles. Using natural elements such as seashells, antlers, and tortoise shells add texture and authenticity to decor styles.

Also, please keep my dad in your thoughts and prayers this morning. At 7:00 AM, he will undergo a carotid endarterectomy. Prayers for a successful procedure.
