A few changes were made recently to the parlor mantle after the purchase of the three antique biscuit barrels. I like to change the mantle periodically with the seasons due to the fact that it is one of the first things guests see when entering the home.
The lower mantle features the two porcelain herons, two vintage apothecary jars, a silvered box and large porcelain nautilus shell.
The upper mantle features my time worn dried florals {The Acorn at Wisteria Hill} and three biscuit barrels.
Next change: Halloween (but that will wait until October)

Parlor Mantle updates, y’all!
Always perfect. Can you share the paint color of the wall surrounding the mantle? It is a perfect shade of gray/taupe. Thanks, Mary Grace of Houston, TX
ReplyDeleteRon, the mantel looks great...the herons are beautiful!! The florals and biscuit barrels are perfect for late summer. You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteRon, your mantels definitely make a statement for those entering your parlor. Lucky you to have a double mantel stack! I give you an A+ on both levels. Really, these look fantastic!
