During a recent shopping excursion on Magazine Street with a bestie ex-neighbor Nancy, I spotted this great cheese slab and knife set.
Most of you know that J & I love to entertain, so entertaining pieces are always on my want list. Do we ever have too many serving pieces?
I eyed this set at The White Camellia and went back for it days later. I just thought that it was one of the best sets I had seen in a while.
The marble slab looks like a wedge of cheese complete with holes.
The cheese knife has a great marble handle.
The cheese knife sits on a metal mouse.
The mouse gets the cheese. I love it. It is whimsical yet practical, and you cannot beat a marble slab for cutting.

Cheese, y’all!
Not only do I need this but also must get this for my sweet Grandmother! She loves nothing more than to offer her guest "cheese and crackers". Being a child of the Depression, offer cheese to guests means to my Gram that she indeed did overcome poverty.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this post! Gram is really going to just love this!!!
Hey Ron; You Always find the neatest things!!! I absolutely Love your new Cheese board and Knife set!!! I wish that I could have a set like that one complete with the Mouse!!! :-)
