My cousin Laurie, her hubs Charlie, and friends Melissa and Eric arrived around lunchtime. They were our guests for the afternoon and night as they were staying to attend the George Strait (or as J keeps saying, Conway Twitty…LOL!) concert.
Bloody Marys were waiting on the bar for their arrival. Cheers.
My go-to mix is Zing Zang. I also like to add Ketel One vodka and spicy beans. A bloody mary is a perfect start to any day.
We quickly dashed to eat lunch at LUKE, one of John Besh’s restaurants in the CBD. We were met by more friends from Thibodaux.
We sipped on more bloody marys and mimosas.
I dined on the delicious LUKE burger and French fries.
The gangs all here!
After lunch, we spent the afternoon at the Fest.
Resting today, y’all!
Sounds like a fabulous day Ron! Luv bloody marys!!

ReplyDeleteI know why you moved to New Orleans now. You just have too much fun living there!!! All of those drinks sound yummy. Sounds like you're a gracious host. I believe the food in New Orleans must be pretty darn good. Every time you go out, there is something good to share.
ReplyDeleteFood, drinks, friends= Priceless.
ReplyDeleteGotta love it, Ron. Cheers!
