If you wish for them, they will come or at least I hope they will. I am happy to share with you one of my favorite birthday presents- two coral lamps for the den.
If you remember, they were featured on my “What I’m Loving” post? I love the neutrality of them.
J did quite well again listening to my subtle hints. I am known to give really subtle hints y’all. LOL! While I was involved in the Science Olympiad in Thibodaux a week ago, J made a visit to a Thibodaux fave, Chic Chateau.
I was so happy to receive such a pair of gorgeous lamps. Each was placed on the sofa table in the den. They work perfectly with the Southern, coastal decor I’ve created since moving back to New Orleans.
Each lamp features a large cream-colored coral. I adore the crystal square base of the lamp and the tiny coral finial. I love to use glass blocks as risers. They are cheap and can be purchased at Lowe’s or Home Depot.
The shade is covered in a lovely linen, burlap-like material with a slight sheen.
I am so happy that these lamps are now part of the den decor. I will cherish them for a long time.

Coral lamps, y’all!
Those coral lamps are exquisite and are so you! They look perfect on the sofa table as they flank the painting of the bird, adding to the coastal decor of that vignette. Tell J I said he did well again this --I wonder how he knew you wanted them! ;) Have a great day! <3
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lamps...a perfect present! :)
ReplyDeleteYour lamps are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThose lamps look great!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!!! When I come to steal the living room chancy, I am copping these lamps as well.
ReplyDeleteThey look so perfect against the window, really show them to their best. Love the finial.
I'm gonna look around a bit to see what I may have missed.
Love y'all,
Gorgeous lamps! Glad they appeared in your birthday presents. '-) Thanks for sharing the idea about the glass block risers. Super idea!
ReplyDeleteThose lamps are just perfect in that room! I love all the details on them. I had no idea they were sitting on glass blocks. I thought that was part of the lamp. They make the lamps look even richer, I think! Great idea. So nice that you got just what you wanted.
ReplyDeleteI've had my eye on a pair at Pier 1 for at least 2 years...so glad I didn't buy them because I now have no place for them as much as I loved and wanted them
ReplyDeleteThose coral lamps are wonderful...and PERFECT for your room. I especially like it paired with the painting- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThe Coral lamps are beautiful and looks so well with your painting. The room is now perfect. So glad you got a Bday present that you loved, makes it more special.

As you well know, there are many different types of homes. There are homes that you feel like you have to take your shoes off at the door and are afraid to relax for fear of creating a mess. There are homes that scream, "help I need a compete makeover". There are homes that are functional but are just not inviting. And then there are homes that make you want to curl up, stay a while and just take in the decour. Ron, your home is like this..... beautiful, inviting, well appointed but not stuffy. These are the best kind of homes. Thanks you for sharing your "sit and stay a while" style of beautiful home. I love the lamps and Happy Belated Birthday.
ReplyDeleteYour comment made my day...my week... my month. I do my best to create a home that is easily accessible to all. You are the sweetest. xo
