Celebrate 40 & 45!

Last evening, family and friends from Thibodaux/Houma (about 60 miles SW of New Orleans) arrived at our house via a limo bus en route to Tommy’s Cuisine to celebrate my sister’s 40th and my 45th.

Family, friends, cocktails, food, and great conversation & laughter, what else would anyone want for their birthday? I can’t think of a thing.

I had a great day and night filled with eating, sipping cocktails, and opening gifts(more on gifts later).

With lunch at the Audubon Clubhouse and dinner at Tommy’s Cuisine, I have certainly eaten and drunk well. Don’t forget my cocktails at Velvet Cactus with friends and dinner Friday night at La Petite Grocery too. The celebrations continue… (all month long)!

  3. Looks like you and Co had a wonderful birthday celebration! Love all the pics! We enjoyed Apolline--tell J that I loved the crabmeat and goat cheese tart, and that brioche bread pudding was the bomb. Now, I can scratch Apolline off my "restaurants I want to try" Pinterest list. Looking now for a place to have brunch on the Sunday after the Eric Clapton concert--I'm thinking Mr. B's or Redemption. If you have any other suggestions, send them my way. We've already had brunch at Cafe Atchafalaya and La Petite Grocery, so I want to try another brunch. Happy Birthday again, and like you, I'll continue to celebrate throughout the month! Have a great day! <3
