Fortunately J & I took out Christmas decorations down last Monday, so I do not have to deal with that during my time of recovery. By now, I usually have my Mardi Gras decorations in place for January 6th, but you know how that went.
I wanted to show you how the parlor and stair parlor look without any of my usual seasonal decor.
I did leave the real magnolia garland on the stairs until the Mardi Gras garland replace them. Pine needle sprays also remain in the faux bois mercury glass vessel on the center table.
I hope you enjoy the tour because I hope to add some purple, green, and gold by the weekend. You know I’ll be sharing with you all.
Thanks again for the continued prayers. I am getting stronger by the day. J has been such a doll.
Parlor time, y’all!
I know you are just itching to start putting up the purple, green, and gold and can't wait to see the transformation of the parlor as well as the rest of your home. Rest up, Ron! Have a great day! <3
ReplyDeleteGlad you are getting stronger. Being less than stellar is the pits!! Had a summer of that in 2012.

ReplyDeleteRon, your home is always beautiful, no matter what! I know you are itching to get the Mardi Gras decor up; but, we need you to take care of yourself!! Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself and get well. Your home looks lovely without any decorations, even though we know you are "itching" to put out the Mardi Gras decor. ;-)
