ReplyDeleteRon, I've been soooo enjoying your Christmas home tour each day. You are so gifted. Love Love Love oysters!!! I love to use the shells to decorate all year round. And I simply LOVE to eat them as well. Any way, raw on the shell, fried (Oh them Po Boys!!), in a stew. They always bring me back to your wonderful state Louisiana, which I visit every winter.
ReplyDeleteSo the lovely ornament would grace my Christmas tree, but would not be put away but enjoyed all year round to always remind me of LA.
Thanks for all you do,
Ann
They are gorgeous! I have on oyster ornament painted like a Santa that we got when the kids were little. Your decorations just send me into a swoon! Enjoy your weekend! Hugs, Linda

ReplyDeleteNew follower! I would simply use the ornaments in my tree. I like for my tree to be sort of like a treasure hunt, with each ornament having a story ... like a charm bracelet. I think I would give the other ornament to a friend as part of the wrapping of her wedding gift because whenever I see oysters I think of how much she loves them.
