By now, it certainly looks like Christmas and finally feels like it too. There are a few yards/homes I’d like to share with my readers today. The photo below is the second home I’ll discuss. I love its facade.
The first home is located on St. Charles Avenue at the corner of St. Charles & Cadiz, just two blocks from my front door. Thousands of lights tastefully strung in the majestic oaks and lining the bars of the cast iron fence are a joyful sight to see.
Starting in November, a team of many in lifts string all lights so perfectly. It is a sight to see the workers put these up.
It is a beautiful display that has attracted many from all over to take pictures, videoes, and to simply gawk.
The second home is also located on St. Charles Avenue. It sits at the corner of St. Charles & State Streets. You will recognize this house from Halloween as the “PUNny Skeleton” home. Once again, the owners have outdone themselves with lighted orbs suspended from the free flowing branches of the majestic oaks. The effect is amazing.
The third house is actually one of my favorite homes situated on State Street. I simply love the house from the street. It is a grand home with cottage-style charm. The owners have taste and class.
And do not forget to check out the facade on Perrier. It’s the Uptown Acorn, of course!
