I have made my share of Christmas wreaths through the years. I wish I had a picture of all of them.
Today, I am participating in The Polohouse’s Favorites on the First, Favorite Holiday Wreaths. I hope you will fa la la la la on over and look at the ideas offered by fellow bloggers.
My wreaths this year include my front door wreaths and an oyster shell wreath.
I also have a wreath around the clock in my courtyard. It is adorned in clear C9 lights.
And there are numerous wreaths on my home’s front facade.
Here are pictures made and used by me, The Acorn at Wisteria Hill, in the past. I love wreaths and door swags/badges. I have used both.
Bucky, my leather deer head, is often decorated for the holiday season too.
One of my favorite wreaths from a 2007 Atlanta Christmas Show House was designed by my friends at Boxwoods Garden and Gifts. I’m glad I took and saved a picture.
What do you use on your front door?

ReplyDeleteI have always used decorated evergreen wreaths on my front foor, but the door is green so they never stand out!
I have so much to do this week to get ready for the holidays (and the photo shoot on the tenth.) Wish you were here to help me!
Have decorated my client's house for the last 8 days and now she is all set, so I can begin the holiday tweaks here... starting today!
Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous artwork.
Love the red berries and feathers in your designs. Always a favorite of mine!

Wow you have a beautiful display of your favorite wreaths over the years. Love your choices of ribbon and berries. I have never seen an oyster shell wreath but such a great idea.

ReplyDeleteYour wreaths are all so professional looking! It was fun to see some other ones you've made before. The oyster wreath is by far the most unique and perfect for the area where you live!
ReplyDeleteAgreed the front facade of your house is fabulous!!......and the oyster wreath is extremely clever...you took something that basically alone looks ugly and you made them look beautiful....great job!

I can never get the ribbons right
