This year for supper club, J & I hosted another “Mix, Mingle, & Jingle” Open House for our close circle of friends. It is so much easier than hosting a sit down dinner.
For any of our soirees, I always serve beer, wine, and a couple signature-style cocktails. One cocktail I always serve is a whiskey sour slush punch, a favorite of my mom’s for years.
The punch is easy to prepare, freeze, and ready for any planned or impromptu celebration.
The recipe is as follows:
1- 32 oz. pineapple juice
2- 16 oz. frozen orange juice
3 oz. lemon juice
2- 1 liter Ginger Ale
1/5- “cheap” whiskey (I use 10 High Straight Sour Mash Bourbon Whiskey.) Put about 1/4 of the bottle.
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, place in gallon size freezer bags, and freeze.
Prepare in large punch bowl about 2 hours prior to serving at a soiree.
It is a favorite of many friends and family. Cheers with Whiskey Sour Punch!
And as always, drink responsibly!
Christmas Cheer, y’all!
