It looks like Isaac is barreling his way to the Louisiana coast. Many models have it making landfall on the eastern Louisiana coastline sometime Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.
Here is how I spent my time making hurricane preparations.
Closing shutters….
Removing porch furniture…
Moving plants/pots to the courtyard…..
Having a cocktail…
I placed most of the things in the courtyard since that area does not receive much wind.
At present, J & I are staying put. We are being advised by good ole WWL-TV. If all else fails, I guess we will be hunkering down at the Maison Dupuy in the Quarter. I don’t do well without power(though I do have ample candles!).
Some neighborhood folks have taken to the “neutral ground”. Only in NOLA!
