Last week, I introduced you to the powder room.
I did not really care for the metal candleholder turned holder for napkins. The room is so small and this stand took up some much needed space, and I really wanted the napkins nearer the small sink.
With an extra oyster plate by Oysteria, I had a revelation! You know, one of those Oprah “Ah ha” moments! Take a look.
With two small decorative metal brackets (from Ace Hardware), an oyster plate, and strips of velcro I created a handy dandy shelf for napkins, diffusers, etc.
I think it turned out great and keeps all necessities nearer the sink.
Oyster plate shelf, y’all!

You amaze me everyday! I wish I had 1% of your decorating skills!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so smart! Love the oyster plate and good idea to use velcro, so the plate doesn't get knocked off and broken.

What is wrong with me! I can't believe I didn't comment on this. I think I read this blog while I was on the treadmill at Koko and forgot to comment when I got home--shame on me!! :/ I love the shelf and agree with Beth that the oyster plate is a perfect fit! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea! Love all your oyster touches!
ReplyDeleteThat is a touch of genius! Your powder room is very much like mine, in location and size. I may get the nerve to show it after all. Hugs, Ginger :)
