In honor of National Flip Flop Day…
During my recent visit to Perlis on Magazine Street to pick up a few things for my impeding beach vacation, I could not pass up the newest offering from Southern Tide, the Flipjack. Immediately I asked for a size 10 in brown(River Rock). I did not even look or ask for a price. I was sold on the look--- classic & coastal. I was told they had just come in that day, and I was one of the very first customers to make a pair mine. After trying them on, let me say that this is one comfortable sandal.
Here is a description of the Flipjack from the website, Southern Tide:
- Boat-ready, fully siped, non-marking soles for sure footing
- Dual density footbed technology provides maximum support
- Premium quality leather uppers, lined with super soft micro-suede
- Siped footbed for better footing
- Disk reinforcement for secure toe post construction
- Nylon web toe post
- Recessed embroidered Skipjack emblem
- 2.5" signature Flipjack key chain
DOCK - Smooth, oil-finished premium full grain leather upper with micro-suede lining. Footbed is dark blue.
SAND - Genuine, full-grain nubuck, oil finished leather upper with micro-suede lining.
RIVER ROCK - Authentic, two-tone tumbled full grain, top of the hide leather upper with micro-suede lining.
I am told Southern Tide merchandise has become one of their top selling lines with the young and old alike.
As a true Southerner, I love the feel and cut of their polos and the softness of the t-shirts.
I’ll certainly be packing my Flipjack sandals on my next beach trip. Off to get a beach pedicure…

ReplyDeleteI love my Sperry flip flops! The only thing is when they get wet, the bottoms of my feet turn brown. :/
ReplyDeleteCharlie has a pair of Jimmy Buffett "Margaritaville" flip-flops. He always takes them when we go to Rosemary Beach...........kind of funny, since we go to Tybee at least once a week, and he doesn't usually take them there!
ReplyDeleteTime for Charlie to treat himself to a new pair of sandals for classy Rosemary Beach! xo
DeleteLike them, Ron.
