One has to eat at the beach. Right?
One of my favorite places on Perdido Key is The Oyster Bar Restaurant & Marina. Serving delicious coastal fare (grouper, tuna, mahi, shrimp, oysters, crab legs, gumbo, and more), the restaurant is situated on the Intracoastal Waterway. The view is breathtaking and a perfect compliment to the menu.
From the restaurant’s website: “On any given day, there is a beautiful place in paradise on the barrier island of Perdido Key, FL, that is filled with happy people that are letting the good times roll on island time! That unique place in paradise is the famous Perdido Key Oyster Bar Restaurant and Marina, which is ideally located by water at Marker 31 on the Intracoastal Waterway six miles east of the Alabama/Florida state line or by land at 13700 River Road. In addition to the accessible location, the business offers a panoramic view of the Intracoastal Waterway and tropical environs of the barrier island.”

The family enjoyed being seated on the deck outdoors overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. The seaside breezes were delightful.
Cheers with a yummy margarita & Ketel One martini!
For starters, we shared fried calamari, blue cheese homemade chips, and onion rings. All were excellent.
For dinner, I enjoyed the Fried Soft Shell Crabs-two hand breaded deep fried soft shell Blue Crabs served with cocktail sauce.
Looking for a place to eat on Perdido Key, I definitely recommend The Oyster Bar Restaurant & Marina. I heart coastal dining!
