All I want for my birthday is … more abalone & tortoise Alison Evans Ceramic Oyster plates, platters, bowls….. oh my!
Upon moving back to New Orleans in 2008, I worked at the chic Hazelnut on trendy Magazine Street. One of the many items I swooned over were the hand glazed, hand molded, sea-inspired oyster ceramics by ceramic artist, Alison Evans. I was thrilled when Hazelnut owners TC and BB gifted me with my first piece, the large oyster platter. I was hooked! Then soon after, J gifted me with the large coffee table bowl at Christmas, and my addiction began…..
I received many more as gifts, and then, lo and behold, I stumbled upon a huge sale of Alison Evans ceramics at Little Miss Muffin in Lakeview. Score! My collection grew and grew and grew. Many gifts and numerous purchases later, take a look at my collection of Alison Evans oyster ceramics…
Shuck ‘em, y’all!
Oh I adore the ceramics. They would be fun to fill with faux pearls!
