I think at times I drive J crazy. On our way back from Ocean Springs, I asked J to drive along the coastal highway from Ocean Springs to Bay St. Louis. I always love to look at the sandy beach, the crashing waves, and the majestic homes and buildings gracing the beachfront. Stopping every so often (the trip home took forever) to snap a photo or two, I could not wait to share the numerous photos of the beautiful, magnificent homes along the coastal boulevard.
I daydream about waking up, sitting on my front porch with my cup of joe, and having the coast as my daily view. Oh! What a dream!
Take a look….
So, what do you think? Do you have a favorite? Please leave a comment below.
Back to reality, y’all!
Here are my other posts of my weekend in Ocean Springs:
Wow! Love these beautiful homes.
ReplyDeleteLove them all, but I think the one with the stairs coming down each side and the brick arches might have to be my favorite. It so reminds me of Rienzi Plantation! :)
ReplyDeleteI know the screened porch isn't the best for the visual look of the house, but as we ALL know, a porch that is NOT screened wouldn't be very useful at dusk during the summer months. I think the LAST house is my favorite because that screened porch looks GIANT, what fun we could have eating crawfish and drinking beer as the sun sets over the GULF!! Let's BUY IT!
ReplyDelete@ Ellen--- You are correct! Let's do it, but it ain't for sale:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments.
Pre-Katrina this was my favorite thing to do. However, my eyes were always on the homes and not the beach. So happy that some decided to fix up and stay. Thanks for sharing these pictures.
ReplyDeleteLooking at your pics makes me miss our house in Bay St Louis even more! Granted, it was nothing like the beautiful homes of Beach Blvd, but it was ours, and it was fabulous! We spent so much time there and were constantly driving to Pass Christian, Gulfport, Biloxi, and Ocean Springs just to see the beachfront property and pick our dream homes. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane! Now I am ready for a quick road trip to the coast!
