Thibodaux...Proud to Call It Home!

"Where Yesterday Welcomes Tomorrow"

Dansareau House

It's always such a treat to get back to my hometown, Thibodaux. Located about an hour south of Baton Rouge & New Orleans, Thibodaux offers many sites of interest.
Beautiful and graceful Bayou Lafourche runs through the city and the downtown area along the banks of LA1 and HWY 308. The city is graced by moss-laden oak trees, plantation homes, and many lush fields of sugarcane. Canal Boulevard, one of the main thoroughfares, offers a peek into the city's past. Several antebellum homes dating back to the 19th century line both sides of the boulevard.

Visiting Thibodaux this past weekend for Honey's birthday is always such a pleasureable experience for me.
Thibodaux is home to some of my favorite shoppes---Old Estate, Green Acres, Chic Chateau, and House of Fashion.
I'd like to feature some of my favorite jaunts of T-town in a few upcoming blogs. Thibodaux has lots to offer and shopping is just one of the many special treats.

Here is a sneak peek at my selection of Thibodaux treats....
