The parlor tree is decked in silvers, golds, and reds. The parlor tree features my ceramic oyster ornaments, clip-on candle lights, and mercury glass acorns. The tree is very elegant in the parlor.
The mantle is always a favorite place to decorate. Live mixed garlands are draped with real oyster shells. I always add a little bit of Southern flair to my decor. Oyster shell trees and collections of fox and deer make the season bright.
I am looking forward to sharing some good ole parlor patter this holiday season.

Oh I love it! So many beautiful touches. Your fireplace is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Michaela!
DeleteOh Ron you never disappoint with your decor. This is gorgeous. You always are able to mix traditional classic with a little whimsy here and there and all things south. Just beautiful. I always look forward to seeing what you do each year. Bravo.

Thanks, Kris. Merry Holidays!
DeleteOh my, those dapper fox and deer, esp the guy on the secretary - be still, my heart! Love the regional flair in the ceramic oyster ornaments. I spied a very pretty glass pomegranate ornament, too. The fireplace is classically beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! The pomegranate is from Hazelnut (last year). xo
DeleteYour home is absolutely stunning Ron. I believe you have missed your calling as a professonal interior designer. It is worthy of Traditional Home....It is the merriest ever! I wish I could visit, sip on a bourbon toddy and take it all in....
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Ron! Your parlor is my favorite room in your home! Your decorations are stunning, as usual--so chic, classy, and festive! Looks like it should be featured in Southern Living! Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI think I'm in love with oyster shells.
ReplyDeleteI know this has nothing to do with your Christmas decor, but I love the frames you used for your paintings! I love a good, thick frame!
