'Tis the Season {Dining Room: Home Tour}

I can honestly say that the dining room of our home is the least used room except for soirees. Most of the time the dining table is used to set up the food buffet. But, I do love to decorate the room due to it being opened to the rear of the house.

An arrangement of Christmas greens, antlers, glittered pomegranates, and pine cones sits at the center of the table. I love using the red plaid runner as well as the monogrammed plates given to me last year as a gift from BFF Dixie Delights. Each brass hurricane lamp features a flameless flicker candle decorated with a vintage-looking wreath from Hazelnut.

On the buffet sits the large Alison Evans clam shell filled to the brim with my favorite glittered pomegranates.

Wreaths of golden magnolia leaves and bay leaves line the dining room windows.

I just love using a bar cart at any time of the year, but it is most exciting at Christmas time. A silver tinsel tree is filled with martini olive ornaments and even a few martini glasses. Shaken, not stirred! The olive ornaments are available for purchase at Hazelnut on Magazine Street. Cheers, y'all!
