Springtime Mantel

After the bunnies and eggs were put away, my goal was to set the parlor mantle for its late spring decor.

I do adore vintage trophy cups, so I kept the larger ones on the mantle and filled the top with hydrangea blooms. They work very well with the salal leaves used during Easter. Uptown Acorn at Work! See the work of The Acorn at Wisteria Hill: click HERE.

The Alison Evans oyster plate (purchased recently at Hazelnut) is perfect in the middle surrounded by vintage trophy cups and natural elements such as geodes and shells.

A diptyque candle in Baies scent is the perfect scent and finishing touch.

Sooooooo, this is how the mantle looks now. I'm certain it'll be changing come summer. Come on SUMMER break!!!

A Spring Mantel, y'all!

  7. Everything is just gorgeous! The trophy cups are perfect for the hydrangeas. The oyster plate plays very nicely with the geodes and shells. The Hermes blankets with the oyster shell pillows frame the fireplace and mantel. The details in your home are just beautiful and well thought out. Each room is a feast for the eyes. Just curious, when did you discover that you have this innate talent for design? I mentioned to a lady that she always looks so nice and she said she's always been that way, even as a child, wanting everything just so. I would guess you were creative and talented, even as a youngster. xoxo
