The windows overlooking the blacktop are decked in the periodic table, Happy Mardi Gras. Photos of my 7th grade students are arranged along the perimeter. The students have a love-hate relationship in taking these photos. Secretly, I think they LOVE it, but 7th graders like to be too cool for school.
I also like to dress our class skeleton, Einstein, in Mardi Gras finery. He watches over us, so he gets special treatment.
Here's wishing you a Happy Mardi Gras from the science lab at St. Paul's.
