Both trees are decorated in the hues of the season that we love - red, green, gold, silver. Both are very traditional.
Here are some of my favorite ornaments that we have collected through the years:

ReplyDeleteDo you ever sleep? Your holiday tour has been great!
J would say I definitely get enough rest!
DeleteLove it all!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam. Happy Holidays!
DeleteGood morning, Ron! Your trees are gorgeous--love the festive, traditional look. You have quite a collection of beautiful and fun ornaments! Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe special ornaments are wonderful. I love a tree that has ornaments with meaning and yours fits the bill.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your ornament collection. An ornament collection can be a history of shared joys and experiences. Are some of the pretties from your travels? Christmas is all about family and you and J have hit the mark with your holiday decor. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love your ornaments. NOLA is like the perfect place for you guys to live isn't it!!
ReplyDeleteYour trees are gorgeous Ron. Love all of your ornaments. So rich with meaning and history.
ReplyDeleteI cannot begin to tell you how much I love Christmas ornaments! There can be so many memories and history attached to each one. Unfortunately, one box of mine was stolen during a move. Things were so hectic at the time and when I finally realized there were a few things "missing", the moving company couldn't/wouldn't determine which employee was responsible. Very sad...
ReplyDeleteYour trees are so beautiful!! I love the traditional colors and look. You have so many amazing ornaments! I think those that represent NOLA are wonderful! Enjoy ~

Since you live in such a popular area with a lot of tourists, it's no wonder that you would have a great collection of New Orleans ornaments. I love the ones that look like the old homes there. If I lived there, I would want to decorate a tree the same way! I bet you have fun finding new ones each year.
ReplyDeleteHey,
ReplyDeleteGreat post here you have created.Contributor Paula Disbrowe hits the back roads of southern Louisiana for garland, gumbo, and no small amount of heaux, heaux, heaux.
Story by Paula Disbrowe I'm trusting my experience will be a positive one
usefull for us.
