When I say get to Fisher’s, I mean it! OMG! The decor and food are amazing. Last night, we ventured from Perdido Key just a few miles to Marina Road in Orange Beach to eat at Fishers which has been open just a year. I read about Fisher’s in a copy of Coastal Lifestyle last summer and could not wait to make a reservation for this year’s visit. Cousin Laurie’s birthday was a great excuse to celebrate.
Set on the Orange Beach Marina, Fisher’s is two floors of wow. The bottom level, Dockside, is a much more kid-friendly, casual beach eatery. Upstairs at Fisher’s is a bit more upscale and elegant but with a totally casual feel. Fisher’s at Orange Beach Marina houses two restaurants under one roof, each devoted to creating mouthwatering cuisine that complement the two waterfront dining experiences: Upstairs and Dockside. We dined Upstairs. Fisher's Upstairs is an upscale dining experience without pretense. The decor is absolutely breathtaking. There is indoor and outdoor seating and two beautiful bars. The chef’s seasonally inspired menu celebrates local ingredients and his Louisiana heritage.
We sat outside in the bar area overlooking the marina. Cool breezes made for a lovely dining experience.
Cocktails. Appetizers. Salads. Catch of the Day specials. The food and drink were perfect. I wish this morning that I would have taken photos of it all.
For dinner, I had the “catch of the day” special, cobia. It was one of the best prepared and plated fish meals I have experienced in a long time.
I love this driftwood chandlier and pouf ottomans for relaxing.I also love the porthole windows allowing views of the kitchen.

I highly recommend my newest fave restaurant on the coast, Fisher’s. If you are ever in Orange Beach, AL take a drive to 27075 Marina Rd.

Wow! That is one beautiful place, and that cobia looks amazing! I love a well-plated meal--eye candy for sure. I'll have to let Natalie know about this place. She is going to FL next weekend. Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteRon,
ReplyDeleteHey, I was at the beach yesterday. We had dinner at The Gulf...have you been there? If not, try it, it's great too. It is located at the perdido pass bridge and Cobalt's is located at the pass and it's another favorite. I put a comment about Fishers on your facebook page...great place (went there a few weeks ago). Enjoy your time here!
Blessings,
Linda
