Today, let’s move into the dining room. I have to say that I am enjoying this birthday gift. My dough bowl is and will be so fun to change up for the seasons.
For spring, I added a bunny holding his meal of choice and a variety of eggs in an array of styles and colors. I adore the way the entire vignette turned out.
The greens of the ivy and preserved boxwood balls make for an interesting backdrop to the addition of the Easter accessories.
Have you decorated for spring/Easter yet?

Spring in the Dining Room, y’all!
I am so getting a dough bowl this year. We go to Round Top, TX and I see them at a the antique week and always pass by. Not this year!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Ron! Happy "Hump Day"! I'm enjoying my first cup of coffee as I read today's post. The vignette that you created in your dough board is so adorable. It may be my favorite of all--the lusciousness of the green with the various eggs and "Peter Cottontail" is so whimsical and "springish." Have a great day! xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt looks so festive, Ron. Mary Lou, Topeka KS
ReplyDeleteI am loving all your spring vignettes!! That rabbit is adorable. I would love to purchase another larger dough bowl. They are so versatile! I rank them right up there with giant clam shells ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat looks excellent! I love how big your dough bowl is and how it allows you to add something like the bunny. I like the mix of the greens with the bunny- it's his garden! I haven't started with Easter deco yet- I gues I need to aim in that direction!!
ReplyDeleteLove the Spring centerpiece! What a fabulous idea to use the dough trencher as an anchor. I also love the new look of your blog!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Ron...! have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHi Ron, I love the dough bowl and the way you filled it with Spring décor! We are away but I did manage to decorate SOME for Spring before we left. HOP on over to check it out:):) I plan to really do Easter décor when we get home. We are kinda stuck in Fl. as we were in an accident on the way down and the car is being repaired in Charleston, SC....... Have a beautiful week!!!!
ReplyDeletePS, Linda designed my blog too. She is an angel!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love how you've used your new dough bowl for your Easter centerpiece! I knew you would find a lot of fun ways to use that bowl.
ReplyDeleteLove the dough bowl! All the greenery is beautiful...and the bunny is too cute. I have not decorated for Spring/Easter yet. I don't think the decorations would last with Ben but I will soon!
ReplyDeleteYour dough bowl is such a great piece to change out for the season. The greens, eggs and the bunny are perfect for Easter. I am working on filling the box on our dining room with flowers. xo
ReplyDeleteHi blue eyed, Ron! :) Oh, I just love your dough bowl centerpiece. The little bunny is so cute and it all looks so pretty sitting on that lovely table runner too.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia;)
Ron,
ReplyDeleteLove your new blog design. It fits you perfect! I am more than ready for some spring décor after this winter. I found the cutest burlap rabbit garland at Target a few weeks ago and will be hanging it today along with my egg wreath for the front door. Love you dough bowl centerpiece and I think that was the same rabbit you used in your décor last spring which I thought was cute but perhaps a little sinister looking. ha!
Ron, I really love that dough bowl! I think I'll have to start looking for one as I shop. Cute bunny and great vignette!
ReplyDeleteRon- Your table is gorgeous- just like everything else you do! I love the green and the runner is beautiful. Hope you are having a great week- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHadn't thought of using one of my dough bowls for an Easter vignette. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great!
Ron, thank you so much for stopping by my blog but mostly for your sweet comment ;-)
