I cannot tell you how long I’ve wished and wanted the oyster belt buckle and brindle belt from Sid Mashburn, an Atlanta fine men’s store.
Well? One was finally ordered(The brindle belt was on backorder for over a month. Ugh!), and UPS finally delivered my new prize on Saturday. Ain’t she a beaut?
I could not wait to get dressed to wear the new “object of my affection”, and dinner in the Quarter was the perfect occasion for me to sport my newest accessory.
Sid Mashburn, located in the chic White Provisions development in trendy Westside Atlanta, offers the well-dressed man an impressive experience. The space itself is a treat for the eyes. The offerings at Sid Mashburn are all classic and polished.
Thanks to Trent Williamsom at Sid Mashburn for helping to make my ordering experience a positive one. Though I do not know Trent from my days of shopping at SM while living in the ATL, the customer service still rocks.
From the Sid Mashburn website: (I could not describe the experience any better.)
“Our inspiration draws from Gordon Parks and Steve McQueen, from Charlie Feathers to Belle & Sebastian, from the 1971 BMW 3.0CS to the BMW 5 diesel station wagon — a fresh interpretation of old standards.
This spirit we’ve sought to capture is expressed through combining iconic pieces with the design of our own products. Our experience as a designer and an editor has encouraged us to offer high-quality, authentic things not found together today — a collection of essential items offered from our perspective. We have traveled the world to design, make and buy the best product for the best price.
Our role is to serve... to help men navigate the uncertainty of their wardrobe choices. We are not just offering the perfect suit, socks, or sweater; we are providing a sense of security, confidence and joy in the wearing of them. We want to help men to be properly dressed and properly served... clothed and in their right mind.”

Sid Mashburn, y’all!
I can see why you like Sid Mashburn--that is quite a men's store. Love the oyster belt--all you need is a tie with oysters on it to complete the look, which I'm sure you already have! Have a great day! :)

You know, I don't think I ever saw a gold oyster shell belt buckle before. It's very distinctive...in a good way. :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you for treating yourself.
